IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.2

Breaking: IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.2 is out. This is the second bug-fix update to the 2026.2 line, and it lands September 2, 2026.

What Changed

• Markdown table cells are no longer forced into aligned layouts
• More than 1300 bug fixes and usability improvements carried through the update line
• 140 freezes and performance issues addressed

Editor Fixes

• Smoothed-out editor behavior in large files
• Fixed code-insight glitches in the built-in Markdown preview

2026.3 remains in Early Access Preview. 2026.2.2 is the latest stable build you can install today.
